Stanhope Gardens

Set within a stucco-fronted period terrace overlooking a garden square, this project brought together two adjoining apartments to create a lateral family home of approximately 2,500 sq ft.

The clients, an overseas-based family with children at school in London, wanted the apartment to feel established and appropriate to the building while working comfortably as a contemporary family home. Period detailing was reinstated through wall panelling and cornicing, alongside bespoke joinery designed throughout the apartment.

A restrained palette of warm neutrals allows texture, timber, artwork and carefully selected furniture to bring character to the rooms. The project was completed over approximately one year.
