Kensington Green

Designed as a London base for an overseas family who spend much of their time travelling in Europe, this three-bedroom apartment was completely reworked from the inside out.

The clients had a refined eye and wanted the interiors to feel sophisticated without being formal. The apartment was taken back to its bones and every element reconsidered, from the spatial planning and extensive concealed storage to the furniture, lighting and finishes. Bespoke pieces were designed alongside carefully sourced vintage furniture, with silk wallcoverings, polished plaster and Porta Romana lighting bringing richness and texture to the rooms.

Completed over approximately nine months, the finished apartment has a sense of permanence and individuality, with craftsmanship, materiality and detail at the heart of the design.
